As the name implies – The Minimalist, this is to carry as lightly as possible without losing functionality within your own core-EDC requirement. Here our website allows you to select your preferred tools as you see fit, or you can add additional items to your cart. The items currently selected is just a suggestion.
Our believe is to always have a knife on your person, and the CRKT CEO or CEO Flipper offers this in a Gentlemen’s version. It looks like a pen when you carry it in your shirts front pocket and weighs about the same.
Although everybody has a light on their mobile phone nowadays, it is far better to use a tool for its intended purpose. One cannot utilize a cell phone light “hand-free”, nor does one want to unnecessarily drain your phones battery, specifically in emergency situations, further to this the light on a phone is not strong enough to provide the user with proper/required lumens in low-light situations. There are various other scenarios where it just makes more sense to carry a dedicated tool with you to provide you light in dark locations or circumstances, from signalling to a tactical advantage.
In our opinion, a pry-tool is fundamental to core carry. Again, using a tool for its intended purpose plays a role here, i.e., Pocket Knives are not meant to be used as Pry-Tools. Therefore, carry a dedicated Pocket Pry Bar with you, once you’ve done so, you will never leave home without it.
