Description
The tailoring and hood configuration of the AP Poncho ensure that the poncho remains in place over the shoulders and head while allowing free access of equipment as well as gear manipulation. The poncho does not provide standalone insulation but can add significantly to the protection from cold and wet weather when used as an outer layer, with for example a Poncho Liner, to protect against rain and wind. Jackets or jerseys should be worn under the poncho for insulation.
It also functions very well in a tarp configurations to extend the use of the AP Poncho, for example as an A-frame shelter, or lean-to, or diamond formation, plus various other options…
