CELOX™ -A (Applicator)

Description

Penetrating injuries such as blast or knife wounds are very difficult to treat and often lethal. CELOX™-A is a unique haemostatic (hemostatic) granule applicator pre-packed with 6g of CELOX™ granules and designed to get through a small entry wound directly to the bleeding site in just a few seconds.

• Clots blood containing anticoagulants.
• Successful haemostasis with the use of CELOX™ granules and improvised applicator was observed in 86% (18/21) of patients on first application, in less than one minute.
• Not compromised by anti-coagulant medication eg. Rivaroxaban.
