Cold Steels Spetsnaz Shovel is modeled after an original Soviet Spetsnaz (Soviet Special Forces) military entrenching tool. With higher grade steel & improved wooden handle this is the ideal: shovel, axe, machete, knife and even weapon (which was one of the applications of the tool by the Soviets).
