The Provoke™ Grivory® morphing karambit knife draws on ancient design but it’s hiding a futuristic secret. The first knife ever to feature Kinematic® technology, it stays neatly tucked away in transit and comes to life when there’s trouble afoot. This version is built with red Grivory®—a strong, lightweight, engineered thermoplastic—making it more lightweight, adept, and crafted to go anywhere.
Description
Innovative Caswell has already proven that a little creative thinking with traditional karambits, makes EDC karambits useful for everything, from EDC, martial arts, to outdoor survival. The CRKT Provoke® Grivory® Red / Provoke Zap is a new iteration of the original classic, built with the unique Kinematic innovation and Grivory, a strong, durable, extremely lightweight, engineered thermoplastic in a high visibility bright orange, easy to spot in all conditions, enhancing resistance to tough conditions in the field and EDC.
The Kinematic mechanism opens with light thumb pressure on the upper crossbar, for rapid manual blade deployment. Locking is activated by shifting the discrete lever at the base of the finger loop.
The low profile stainless steel pocket clip of the CRKT Provoke® Grivory® Red rests flush with the knife handle and is initiate for wear with slight thumb pressure.

How Kinematic® Works
Nudge the upper crossbar with your thumb—while the rest of your fingers firmly grasp the handle—and the blade lunges to life and locks into place. Shift the discrete lever at the base of the finger loop and the blade retreats into its closed position.
