Uses and Features
- Wound cleaning: Used to wipe away dirt or apply antiseptics to unbroken skin or minor abrasions.
- Fluid absorption: Soaks up blood and minor exudate.
- Not for open wounds: Non-sterile options should not touch deep or open wounds directly unless sterilized first.
- Common sizes: Available in 50 mm x 50 mm, 75 mm x 75 mm, and 100 mm x 100 mm (often in 4-ply or 8-ply thickness)
