Tanto Large – G10 Black – Honey Badger (EDCS Special)

Arguably the best-looking Honey Badger, the Tanto Large – G10 Black knife is recognizable by its two edges meeting at a sharp angle, creating a strong and durable tip. The clean lines and geometry of the blade reflect the Japanese word “tanto,” meaning “short sword”. Tantos are excellent tactical knives, ideal for any application requiring a strong, piercing tip.

That durable tip and strong robust point make it good for piercing tough objects. While most modern uses of a tanto do not carry over from the traditional use as an armor puncturing tool they can still feasible to great effect on day-to-day tasks.

The Tanto Large – G10 Black blade is made from D2 tool steel and finished in Black PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition). The PVD layer is more than cosmetic — it forms a very hard protective barrier that resists scratching and abrasion and improves the blade’s corrosion resistance, so the knife stays reliable and good-looking through heavy, everyday use.
