To prevent overheating, the EDC23 automatically reduces brightness if accidentally activated in High mode.  Additionally, this torch features an easy-to-use sliding lock switch to prevent accidental activation. It comes with two lockout modes: Semi and Full. In Semi Lockout, you can Turbo and Strobe, while Full Lockout will disable all functions.
